Stay updated on what the government is doing in response to the virus. This includes information on current travel restrictions, how you can best prepare, as well as what Federal, State, and Local governments are doing to limit the spread of the virus.

The World Health Organization (WHO) continues to regularly update their resource materials based on new scientific findings as the pandemic evolves. Handouts, videos, and technical resource documents are available in a variety of formats and languages. Several “myth busters” have also been produced to clarify the factual information being circulated and discussed among the public.

National Institutes of Health Coronavirus Updates
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) continues to release information on the status of vaccine research and trials, alternative treatments, guidance on travel and meetings, and more. There is also an option to subscribe to the latest NIH updates via email.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Official COVID-19 Guidance Page
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has, and continues to produce several resources for individuals, employers, employees, and the public at large. OSHA has published guidance on how workplaces can prepare for the coronavirus, along with best practices to prevent worker exposure. This is an excellent resource to understand how existing OSHA standards may apply to protect workers during the pandemic.

The Florida DOH’s dashboard provides county by county data including how many are tested, diagnosed, and what the current demographics are.

Florida Division of Emergency Management Guidance on COVID-19
The Florida DEM has provided several resources on the coronavirus and produces a daily report providing in depth data and analysis on testing and surveillance outcomes.
